Become a FIFA Referee and earn money in the summer!

Referees are paid for officiating games at all competitive levels (A-D) in the Brighton Soccer League. Referees are typically assigned back to back games on the same field so that they can make twice the amount of money by officiating 2 games a night (approximately 2 hours work).

You may click on the title above to go to the official New York State Referee website and find out about becoming a FIFA-certified referee.   You will receive an e-mail with further details and information on submitting payment.  Take the clinic to get your certification and then attend the referee meeting in the spring (see referee website for meeting dates) to pick up the availability form and fill it out. It is up to the individual to contact the assignor.

We are always looking for teenagers (over 14 years old) and adults to referee games. You will not be assigned A or B Division games unless you are over 17 years old.
